Preferred Broker Application

Thank you for your interest in DC Health Link’s Preferred Broker program.

You may apply to be part of the Preferred Broker Program for the Individual & Family marketplace, Small Business marketplace, or both. To be eligible to participate in the Preferred Broker Program for the Individual & Family marketplace, you must have and maintain at least 20 active clients in this marketplace through DC Health Link. To be eligible to participate in the Preferred Broker Program for the Small Business marketplace, you must have and maintain at least 5 active small employer groups through DC Health Link.

Please fill out the form below and select REGISTER. DC Health Link will review your application to ensure you’re a registered Broker and meet these requirements. We will also assign a professionalism rating to you based on your past dealings with DC Health Link. See the requirements for more information about how Brokers are assessed.

If you’re accepted into the Preferred Broker Program, you’ll be asked to sign an agreement. Once this agreement is signed, you’ll be able to take part in the many benefits of the Preferred Broker Program. These include an indicator in the general Broker search that you’re a preferred Broker, access to special webinars and office hours with the DC Health Link Small Business and Individual & Family marketplace teams, and transfer of potential clients from DC Health Link’s Customer Service call center.
