DC Health Link to connect with District football fans on Super Bowl Sunday through pizza delivery and social media campaign to remind them about extended February 5th deadline
With the deadline for Open Enrollment now extended to February 5th, DC Health Link is making extra efforts to inform DC residents there is still time to get enrolled in quality, affordable health coverage. As part of this extra push, DC Health Link is once again “thinking outside the box” this Super Bowl Sunday to reach football fans in the District—with pizza box information ads!
DC Health Link is partnering with a Ledo Pizza franchise location and two District locations of RedRocks Neapolitan Bistro, a firebrick pizzeria, to place fliers on pizza delivery boxes at their restaurants reminding fans that the February 5th deadline for 2020 health insurance coverage is Wednesday.
Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest day of the year for takeout pizza, with food industry experts projecting Americans to order about 12.5 million pizzas. In fact, new market research shows that 37% of Super Bowl viewers were estimated to eat pizza during last year's game. DC Health Link is using this creative outreach to connect with DC residents during the big game to make sure they don’t miss out on 2020 health insurance coverage.
