During open enrollment, when do I have to select a plan, and when will my plan take effect?

Open enrollment ends on January 31st. After January 31st, you’ll only be able to enroll in a plan or change plans if you qualify for special enrollment.
You must make your premium payment by the due date indicated on the invoice your insurance company provides. You won't be covered or receive an insurance card until you pay. If you pay after your coverage start date but before the invoice due date, your coverage will be in effect as of the coverage start date.
