What is the difference between applying for health insurance with financial assistance and without financial assistance?

There are two DC Health Link applications:

Financial Assistance Application: Checks to see if you are eligible for Medicaid, premium tax credits, cost-sharing reductions, and enrollment in a DC Health Link plan.
No Financial Assistance Application: Checks to see if you are eligible to enroll in a DC Health Link plan.

Since there are new types of assistance available, we encourage you to use the financial assistance application to see if you qualify for help paying for your health insurance.
